ASporty

Vabljeni k ogledu in prebiranju.

The Asporty project

The aim of the project is deepening cooperation of three participating partners in the field of sports: Klettaskoli from Iceland, Centre for Autism Rijeka from Croatia and Association of Inclusive Culture from Slovenia.

The project lasts from January 2020 to December 2021 and is funded under the Erasmus+ programme (Sport).

 It consists of three parts:

In the first, practical part, each partner organisation performs special sports programme for athletes (children and youngsters with Autism spectrum disorder, intellectual and combined disabilities).

The second part are the Transnational meetings of staff with the aim of learning about good practices abroad and the last part is the promotion of the project activities and outcomes.

The main objectives of the project are:

– upgrading our existing sports programmes for our athletes,

– providing quality afternoon free time with sports activities to encourage social inclusion and equal opportunities in sport in each partner organization,

– developing and improving natural forms of body movement, basic motor skills, gross and fine motor skills of athletes,

– monitoring progress and development of athletes as well as

– awareness raising to the parents and teachers about healthy and complete development of children through sport.

Together with the partners, we have issued 8 brochures on different topics, concerning sports and special needs.
